A $15.00 handling fee only applies when a console is dismantled for fault inspection and diagnosis and it is determined by our technician that the unit is not serviceable. We can waiver this fee if you choose to let us retain the faulty console for us to recycle any workable components and  utilise these serviceable parts if any. This condition only contributes to helping the environment and reducing landfills and assist other customers by keeping the costs down.

It also saves the worry on throwing away a console thinking that it might of been able to work without purchasing additional parts and have us adjust common laser problems to bring the console back to life again.

Our repair and assessment fees are very competitive and  you would save you hundreds of dollars if were to replace the console with a new unit.

Please note that fees will vary if new parts are required and we will advise you of any additional charges before commencing any additional work. 

Sometimes it is more feasible to purchase a new console when the parts outlay the cost of a new unit. We will advise you if this is the case with your console.

 However we strive in providing you the best possible advise and therefore you are not outlaying more than  what would be reasonable for your budget. Any work costing over $140.00 will not be carried by our technicians. EBay sell second hand PS2 console units at this price and therefore we avoid customers from outlaying unnecessary costs.

Sorry we do not recommend in chipping consoles as this only affects the efficient operation of the unit and leads to future laser problems.
